Vango Anantara IV Air TC 450XL 2023

Every tent manufacturer has a flag ship ‘Rolls Royce’ tent in their range, and for Vango, the Anantara IV Air TC 450XL is theirs. Firstly, what does TC stand for? well, TC stands for technical cotton, and essentially this means a modern day canvas (a mix of cotton and polyester). There are three big benefits to this material. Firstly, when it gets wet it contracts which means the wetter the weather, the more sturdy it becomes. Secondly, on a hot day a technical cotton tent is much, much cooler inside and lastly, technical cotton will last a lot longer than standard nylon/polyester tents.

The Anantara 450 XL will comfortably sleep four adults across the back of the tent. The XL refers to the fact each person has a massive 70cm sleeping space each. In front of the bedroom area is a large living area, big enough for a table, or for all the family to stay in comfortably should you get a wet weather day. In front of the living area is another area ideal for wet boots, paddle boards, or whatever else you may need to store. there is a good sized porch too where you can sit and enjoy the vista with a glass of something cold. this can be closed off too, should you require a little privacy.

As you would expect, the Anantara is 100% waterproof and has a hydrostatic head of 5000mm. All of this and the whole tent will inflate in just minutes (pump provided).
